Oh no, sir, there are way more than a few other specs. To be precise, there are currently 14 variations of the 911 excluding the GT3, GT3 RS and 911 R. Yes you would be correct, there are 17 variations of the 911.
The medium sized, executive saloon, conclusively built to fill the loomingly hollow between the ferocious F-Type (sports car) and luscious flagship XJ (luxury sedan). The same executive saloon that needs to pick a fight with the class leading 3-series and the current trend-busting C-Class.
In 2003, BMW revealed its E46 M3, Mercedes rumbled with the C32 AMG and Audi unleashed its mountain passing, tar ripping four wheel drive RS4. Again, each very unique and absolutely brilliant, but as Audi and Mercedes went to bed thinking that they had done their absolute best to compete, but little did they know that BMW revealed had something special up their sleeves.
That is the same amount of torque you get from a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and more than the Death Star before Luke “use the force” Skywalker blew it to smithereens. If we look back at the rivalry between cars, the performance family saloon battlefield has always been a little bit of a triple threat power fight. BMW’s M Division have given precision focused performance, while their Quattro fuelled rivals at Audi comforted us with four-wheel drive and a ton of grunt.
Might we add, they do look rather amazing.
