Rolls-Royce SUV or ‘Project Cullinan’ will probably cost as much as the diamond

Rolls-Royce SUV - 'Project Cullinan' set for 2018 launch

Codenamed ‘Project Cullinan’ the Rolls-Royce SUV will be entering the market in 2018.

Rolls-Royce doesn’t want you to think of it as a soccer-mom car but rather an “all-terrain, high-sided vehicle.” The teaser shots certainly look like an SUV, maybe the traditional English brand is struggling with the notion of moving is this direction, a move in response to a massive demand in China, the Middle East, North America and the English Premier League.

Underpinning the vehicle is Rolls-Royce’s new aluminium spaceframe architecture. Which will also underpin the next Phantom (also expected in 2018) and eventually makes it may into the next-generation versions of the Ghost, Wraith and the Dawn.

If it looks like an SUV, smells like an SUV, tastes like an SUV...its an SUV

Test mules have been running around for about a year now but Rolls-Royce is now ready to send Prototypes all over the word to ensure the car is “effortless” in all conditions.

We look forward to seeing this unfold, the Bentley Bentayga is so baller but this thing may make it look rather pedestrian!

What do you guys like of the styling thus far? So distinct that even my mother guessed it was a Rolls-Royce, literally i showed her, still amazed at that.
