NISMO Pulsar – Now this a hot hatch!

Nissan have brought a concept to the Paris Motor Show 2014 that will get all the slang rolling, backward cap wearing “Hoonigan”, boy racers so excited, the only conversation piece this weekend will be about which car parks would be best to do donuts and handbrake turns in when (and I say when with a hopeful tone) Nissan launch this car. Lads and, well “Hoonigans” Nissan has finally entered the HOT HATCH market with a piece of “kit” that will not only turn heads, but it will keep the neighbours¬†up all night with¬†turbo “whooshing” and tyre screeching.

Now before you cancel your deposits on your GTi, ST or Megane RS, this is only a “design study”, one which we hope/pray Nissan and Nismo commit to. If they need any convincing, they can take my money now. All of my money, RIGHT NOW!

Will this Nismo Pulsar keep up with the current breed of stupidly fast hot hatches? HELLS YEAH! Here are some specs.

The heart of this Nismo is a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo engine up, but apparently, we can expect between 250bhp (186kW) and 275bhp. That is a lot, compared to the Golf 7 GTi which only has 217bhp (162kW).

So, it isn’t just fast, it looks amazing, with carbon fibre bits, twin exhausts, and struggle-cuddle bucket seats, we really hope Nissan go through slam this into production.

Again, thanks Top Gear for the images.

It is pretty obvious that I like cars, wait, LOVE cars, but apart from that, I like to run too. I have a funny feeling that these two interests are somehow related. A bit like coffee and waking up, which are my next two favourite things!
