Yes, a McLaren Hyper car
McLaren has released a teaser image of what they are calling a “the world’s first Hyper-GT”. The overview of the car indicates that it adopts the 3 seat layout of its much older sibling the infamous F1. For those of you who are unaware of this iconic seating arrangement in the F1 (and now the code-named BP-23) the driver sits up front directly in the middle of the cabin and is flanked by two passenger seats slightly behind.
Release date is probably around 2019 and as these things go all 106 planned for production are already sold.

McLaren Automotive CEO Mike Flewitt said this: “We are calling BP23 a ‘Hyper-GT’ because it’s a car designed for longer journeys but with the high levels of performance and driver engagement expected of any McLaren.
“A hybrid powertrain will make it one of the most powerful McLarens yet created but the car will also deliver the highest levels of refinement, enabling significant journeys to be undertaken with up to three people aboard.”
Big shoes to fill but man are we excited!
