Welcome everyone to yet another collab, this time between BeatsAudio and Volkswagon!
Volkswagen SA is now offering a BeatsAudio special edition Polo 1.2TSI Comfortline called the Polo Beats.
In the unlikely event you have never heard of BeatsAudio, all you need to know is they were started in part by Dr. Dre, they’re owned by Apple and they are makers of some of the finest audio fashion accessories come average sounding headphones in the world.
Polo Beats is offered with a 300 Watt premium sound system. The Beats crystal-clear system has an 8-channel amplifier with a digital signal processor channelled through 7 high-end speakers: 2 tweeters in the A-pillars, 2 woofers in the front doors, 2 broadband speakers in the back, as well as 1 subwoofer integrated into the spare wheel well. Plenty power to deafen yourself and show anyone within a 20-meter radius that you aren’t rolling with a standard system!
Polo Beats comes standard with Composition Media Radio with USB interface for iPod/iPhone, AUX-in jack, Bluetooth connectivity and App Connect.
The Polo Beats also gets 16-inch “Portago” alloy wheels in anthracite, red door mirrors, dark red taillights, decorative “Beats” side film, and the “b” logo on the B-pillar.
The interior features front sports seats, scuff plates with Beats finish, door trim panels in the “Beats” design, coloured seat belts and a leather steering wheel.
You pay an R14 000 premium over the model on which it is based but considering the appeal of the BeatsAudio brand and South African’s love for his VW Hatchback we think it should do quite well.
